We want this conference to be the next best thing to visiting Narnia for yourself.
The Desiring God 2013 National Conference, September 27–29 in Minneapolis, is taking up the theme “The Romantic Rationalist: God, Life, and Imagination in the Work of C.S. Lewis.” Plenary speakers are John Piper, Douglas Wilson, Phil Ryken, Kevin Vanhoozer, and Randy Alcorn. And now, in addition to four Friday afternoon seminars, we’re introducing a dozen 10-minute mini-talks inspired by Lewis’s life and work.
We’re calling these “small talks,” well, because they’re small compared to the 60-minute plenaries and 45-minute seminars. We’re asking our small-talkers to sound off for just 10 minutes or less, and we’ll be keeping a tight clock. So here are twelve more small reasons to do what it takes to join us this Fall.
